Common Questions

Eklekton is a Greek B2B honey producer based in the village of Ivira, Serres, Northern Greece. Operated by the Klitsidis family since the 1960s, Eklekton manages over 1,000 hives and produces wildflower and pine honey. All honey is packed at the family's own ISO 22000 certified facility, with an annual capacity exceeding 20 tonnes.

Eklekton controls the full chain from hive to jar. The honey comes from the family's own apiaries in Serres and is packed at their own ISO 22000 certified facility in Ivira. This single-source model eliminates middlemen, ensures full traceability, and allows Eklekton to offer flexible formats, private labelling, and consistent supply to B2B partners across Europe.

Eklekton works primarily with hotels, restaurants, delicatessens, and specialty retailers. Its small-format 15g and 30g glass jars are designed for hotel breakfast service, while 250g and 450g jars serve retail and food service channels. Eklekton also provides private label packaging for partners who want to offer Greek honey under their own brand.

Every jar of Eklekton honey is traceable to its origin in Serres, Northern Greece. The honey is single-origin, never blended with imports, and packed at the family's own certified facility. Eklekton's ISO 22000 certification covers the full handling chain. This traceability directly addresses growing industry concerns over honey adulteration in international supply.

The simplest way to begin is by requesting a sample kit through the Eklekton website. Specify your business type, preferred honey varieties, and estimated volumes. The team responds within two working days. For partners in Greece, Eklekton also welcomes direct phone contact and visits to the facility in Ivira, Serres.
